A page targeting one city or service area so it can rank for that location.
A local landing page is built around a single location and the services offered there, with genuinely local content: the neighborhoods served, local landmarks, real photos, and reviews from that area. Done well, these pages help a business rank in multiple towns. Done lazily, as near-duplicate pages with only the city name swapped, they read as thin content and can hurt more than they help.
