Any online mention of a business's name, address, and phone number.

A local citation is a listing of your business's NAP on another website, such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, a chamber of commerce, or an industry directory. Citations act as votes of legitimacy for local search. Structured citations live in directories; unstructured ones show up in blog posts or news articles. Volume helps, but accuracy and relevance help more.
